Invercargill Licensing Trust welcomes new Marketing Manager.
ILT says it expects the Honourable Mr Barclay to start next week. “He does have some prior commitments but by the sounds of it they’d be happy enough if Todd didn’t show up ever again.”
The Trust has a full legal monopoly on all alcohol sales and venues in Invercargill. It owns every bar and bottle store, and prevents supermarkets from selling any wine or beer. Its motto: “Protecting you from the confusion of choice!” Trust venues stock beers ranging from Speights to Monteiths, and some even stock both sorts of wine for the ladies.
"We welcome Todd’s political nous and youthful enthusiasm. Todd epitomises the Trust’s values and community standards – we are a legalised monopoly in liquor and pokies; and he has a proven record pimping tobacco and planting bugs. That’s our kind of lad!"
“While the communist North Island media have reported our Toddy Boy is under Police investigation, we are confident that is incorrect, or, at least, will be incorrect after we host a long lunch at the Kelvin Hotel.”
