Be your own Boss! Head Brewer needed for exciting new inner city Brewpub.

A unique opportunity for a motivated home brewer looking for their next step into the craft beer world.  A central city 1200 litre brew house with 18 taps pouring the most popular beer styles will be open sooner than expected and we need you.

This is a challenging, sole position role, that requires a hands on approach and an open mind. A brewpub can be a busy environment; you must be able to move at pace, think on your feet and remain calm under pressure. Equally there are periods where self motivation is essential to make the busy times run smoothly.

To be successful in this role you must have:

Engineering Experience: We need you to assemble the brewery and trouble shoot any installation issues with contractors. A strong knowledge of stainless steel welding and an understanding of concrete chemistry is essential.

Marketing Knowledge: Creating viral and traditional advertising campaigns will be a vital skill, the use of camera and video equipment important. Some acting experience would be good but not essential.

Branding Expertise: A strong background in contemporary art and modern graphic design is a prerequisite. 

Vibrant Personality: An outgoing and charismatic persona will be indispensable. Engagement with our many customers, suppliers and fans will be a fundamental core skill.

Leadership Skills: Employ an in-house training scheme for staff while motivating and empowering team members will be imperative. 

Sales Background: on and off license sales engagement will be vital in this high growth market. Target driven incentives apply.

Brewing Experience: Must have experience in brewing Pale Ales and India Pale Ale styles. 

The fortunate applicant and look forward to a fantastic remuneration package, starting salary 45k with 6 monthly performance reviews.
