Wellington Cargo Pants Sales Soar as Brewers Descend on Hāpi Beer Festival

Tactical and Practical, thank craft beer for making cargo pants popular.

Figures released today from eftpos NZ revealed a large sales spike for certain retailers in Wellington .  

When contacted by TMTB Kathmandu CEO David Kirk admitted cargo pant stocks were desperately low and zip of travel pants were also the running out. “I’ve never known such an appetite for leg storage apparel, what are they keeping in those pockets?, certainly not shaving products.”

International Brewers Cargo Pant Chairman Shaun Hill of Hill Farmstead Brewery defended his brewing brother’s sartorial choices. “For many years I have owned one pair on cargo pants and worn them everyday, I store my house yeast in them and you all know how good that tastes right”

In true Garage Project style, a cargo pants tailor will be at this year’s Hāpi Festival for brewers to get their bespoke pocketed pants made. Two colours available, beige and dark beige.
