Philip Morris Tobacco Launch Beautiful Truth Campaign
Following the New Zealand Brewers Association's roll out of their “Beer the beautiful truth” campaign. Cigarette maker Philip Morris Tobacco has jumped on the health bandwagon by dispelling myths and clearing the air about the nutritional benefits of smoking.
A Philip Morris spokesperson revealed that advertisements and celebrities sharing their personal stories about sucking back a well earned durry will be rolled out over the coming weeks. “The Brewers Association’s new campaign reminds me of the good old days when we had doctors and celebrities endorsing our smokes, so we feel it’s time to get our heads out of the clouds again and give our customers the confidence to safely smoke in moderation”
Brewers Association director Dylan Firth said he was delighted that a cigarette company had jumped on board with their informative campaign. “I wish they had come to us earlier, we could have launched a collaborative campaign. Everyone knows a beer and a ciggy is a great shout”
When asked about the potential social and physical harm of smoking and drinking, Firth continued “With both products at less than 1% sugar they speak for themselves, here’s to your health cheers!
